We offer varying degrees of
periodontal services that are
necessary to control active
periodontal disease. The
initial part of treatment
normally consists of deep
scaling (root planing) with
local anesthesia as well as
intense instructions in personal
oral hygiene. This is only
suggested if the patient has not
undergone this within the last
several years. These are
non-surgical procedures that are
completed with local anesthetic
for your comfort and normally
cause minimal problems.
More complex cases may require surgical treatment of varying
types as well as regeneration of
lost bone and soft tissue
utilizing grafting procedures.
All procedures are described to
the patient in detail prior to
treatment and alternatives for
therapy are also explored.
